This is stage 2 of the interior work: the Dash and Wiring, and all stuff
that comes out behind it.
I November, 1997
Before shot of the dash
The passenger side was just as bad, so in went another floor pan.
The bad paint was scraped out and prepped for primer.
Dash removed and ready for refinishing. A winter job, after the
transmission rebuild.
Oops! While I am in there, I might as well keep tearing
it down. New dash, rebuild the heater box...

More of the same. Getting down to the bare minimum. Should I paint
the color coat before I re-do the transmission, and risk scraping it up,
or do I risk rust getting under the primer while I do the rebuild? Decisions,
decisions.
Looks like a 100S without the windshield. It is tempting to keep on
going and redo the paint. At this point, it is not that much more work to
tear down. Just ALOT more money than I originally planned to spend. Any
suggestions?
